Right before Mother’s day, on May 9th, a very good friend of mine, Georgina, lost her older sister Penelope to violence in her own home. Penelope had three daughters under the age of eight. Their father is on the run, essentially orphaning these girls. Luckily the girls have their Aunt Georgina and Uncle Diego (Penelope’s other sibling) and their grandparents to look after them and help them heal.
Georgina’s parents are considering moving closer to Georgina, getting a bigger house to accommodate the girls, and Georgina and her parents will need larger vehicles (Georgina already has a daughter of her own, making the kids Georgina is now stepping up to help mother a brood of four). Georgina’s mother doesn’t work and her father, has a job, but is in his 50s. It’s going to be very tough especially while grieving for the loss of their dear Penelope to make ends meet.
A fellow friend of Georgina and I have made a donation campaign to raise money for vehicles, moving expenses, funeral costs, whatever is needed in this time.
I don’t have a lot of followers myself but I know the strength of Tumblr So if you would kindly spread this like wildfire, that would be fantastic. I know it would mean a lot to Georgina and her family. And maybe we can show these little girls that Love can be bigger than the violence they have experienced/witnessed.

So instead of praising Angelina on her bravery, men on Twitter decided to ridicule her, even calling her stupid for removing her breasts. For those of you on Tumblr that are attacking Feminists about being delusional about sexism against women and misogyny here’s your fucking proof that sexism and misogyny exists.
